DS ate a rock!

As if falling thru the bridge yesterday wasn't enough, today DS decides to eat a rock while we are outside. Atleast I *think* it was a rock. He reached down, grabbed something off the ground and smashed it into his mouth so fast, I am honestly not sure what it was. I am hoping it was a nice small, round pebble. Of course he started gagging and choking on it for a few seconds before he got it down, and then gives me the biggest grin ever.

As if concussion precautions were bad enough, now I have to sift thru his poopy diapers to find this stupid rock. Atleast the ped didn't feel it was necessary to bring him to the ER - just watch him and make sure we recover the rock from his dipe in the next day or so.

This boy will be the death of me! Mama need some valium!

I am so ready to forbid outside play.

Don't feel bad about the rock. My dd ate a packet of silica gel. I freaked out because they say 'DO NOT EAT' on them. I called poison control only to be told not to worry about it. Just give her some water to drink and watch for diarrhea or bloody stools.

It just makes you panic when they do that sort of stuff!

My Ds bit into my sis' cartridges for calligraphy. I had to call poison control to make sure he would be ok. Luckily only thing he got was a blue mouth!

Awww, poor mommy! DD's starting to get to that age. If she gets a hold of something small she shouldn't have, she knows it. As soon as I say her name she gets this look on her face like "Oh No! My treasure! Gotta hide it! In My Mouth!!!"
