Expressed Breastmilk HELP!

My dh is at home with out LO this afternoon. All my milk is frozen. He thawed out 4 ounces to feed him, but LO usually eats 7 ounces. Anyway, he just called me and LO is screaming because he isn't full. I have 3 ounces in the fridge that was frozen. It was taken out yesterday, but DH never used it. Would it hurt to give this to him? It had been laid out on the counter to thaw, but I put it in the fridge before it was completely warm. He can get this to him quicker than trying to thaw something out. I just don't know how big of a deal this is or if it if would make him sick?

Have him smell it. You can smell it if it's sour. Frozen is generally good for 24 hours in the fridge, but sometimes more and sometimes less. FYI-my frozen BM smells different than fresh anyway, but I can still tell if it's sour. Hope that helps.

Sounds fine. I had a friend once suggest that I and DH taste the milk, so that we would be able to tell if it's ever sour. I guess you could have your DH take a sip!
