Best knit newborn cocoon?

There are a bunch on ravelry. Some are free and some aren't. Are they all about the same? Is there an awesome free one or is there one I should buy?

I was also wondering if I could use a cocoon instead of an infant insert in my Ergo. My last baby hated the insert so I gave it away. I'd rather not buy a new one.
TIA!

Re: Best knit newborn cocoon?

I have made this before, and I'm making it again for my new baby. It's easy and fast and the pattern is free.

This was the first one I made (the pic was to show that I had messed up one of the owls, but I redid it)

Re: Best knit newborn cocoon?

I loved the snug as a bug baby kicking sack. Not a true cocoon, but my NB lived in it and I actually passed it on to friends with a NB because it was so vital for that first few weeks.
