How to get yeast off of bras??

We have had thrush issues for months and months......finally I have given in and am on Diflucan for 14 days....I about 1 week down, but still not seeming to be much better yeast wise. I bleach the bras?? Anything else I could do? I am thinking it might not all be off of my bras??

Am I going to have to go buy new ones?? I will if it that ends it!!

could you wash them in super hot water then dry them in the sun. I think I read somewhere that sunlight kills yeast

Supposed to wash on hot and use GSE. TTO couldn't hurt either. Diflucan did NOTHING for me.

Wash on hot with GSE or TTO or Vinegar soak, dry in sun....

I used Diflucan and ended up going to Gentian Violet as per Dr. Jack Newman after. I don't think the Diflucan took care of it - I think it was the GV.

GV isn't even working for me, LOL. Sorry to say, but it may take awhile for you to find the cure that works for you. I hope this works, though!

Yup, those didn't do anything for me, either. I think for some people they help a lot, though! Worth a shot, I say!

Boil it? I had to do that with my nursing pads. It seemed to help.

Re: How to get yeast off of bras??

I thought about the dishwasher?? It worked well for diapers.....it would get pretty hot. What do you think??

I am off to look up some info.....it's getting worse with the diflucan and now on one breast when I nurse it feels like sharp glass.....I have read about a special diet but I already don't consume dairy.....

Kim- So what finally worked for you??
