You don't have to be a site supporter to list on FSOT. Being a site supporter gets you a bigger pm box capacity and no ads to look see, among other perks I am sure. But it isn't a requirement for posting or listioing items as far as I know. HTH!

My understanding is that you become a site supporter to support the site, and it gets rid of all of the annoying ads. I didn't think that it had anything to do with fsot. I have posted on fsot numerous times, have quite a few posts, but am not a site supporter yet. (Bad, I know...just not in the budget at this time. )

You do not have to be a site supporter to B/S/T in FSOT.

I don't agree, but that is my opinion.
There are a lot of sites out there that you can list items for sale on but have to pay a fee. That is one of the bonuses of DS. There are a lot of mamas on here that can't afford that fee. People are on very tight budgets and need a place to list their items for sale without having to worry about listing fees for doing so. (Craigslist doesn't cut it, there is not enough knowledgable cd interest there.) I think that if it was mandatory to pay a fee for listings, we would just see the prices of diapers go up even more. Sellers would be compensating for their fees in their listing prices. This is already an issue with pp fees, high cost of shipping, etc. Why make it worse?

Re: Someone Posting in FSOT w/out a Site Supporter why am i paying for it?

It would be nice if we could all afford to be site supporters - but sometimes even such a small amount isn't in the budget - which is why a lot of people DO sell on FSOT (cause that dang budget isn't stretching far enough!!) When I get a job again, I plan on being a supporter

This is why I spend so much time on DS - I don't have to pay for it. I don't sell on Ebay anymore because it costs too much. If I had to start paying to list my items here, it probably wouldn't even be worth my while.
