Re: How many extended/ tandem nursers are here?

Still nursing my 13.5 month old about 10-12 times in a 24 hour period. Not really extended that much but great for me with my first baby

I'm nursing my 17-month-old and will continue as long as it feels right for both of us (a.k.a. until he's ready to wean LOL). DD nursed until 20 months when she abruptly weaned herself (so like how she does everything in life).

I am nursing a 3.5 year old. When she was born I was nursing her brother, he was 4.25 years and he nursed until 5. Emilianne is not any where near to wanting to wean. I am almost ready though. I have been nursing non-stop no for almost 8 years.

I am tandem nursing my two-year-old and eight-month-old sons. My toddler shows no signs of weaning (in fact, he nurses more than my infant!!) and I plan on letting them both self-wean.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
We do! My dd is 25mo and ds is 6.5mo...

Still nursing DD at 18mo, and while there are some days (and many nights) when I wish she was weaned, she's not interested in giving it up yet.

I think if she was a better sleeper, I wouldn't have so many issues, but seriously waking up 6+ times a night to nurse is just frustrating me!

As for comments/pressure, I think most people just assume we've weaned since she doesn't really nurse while we're out all that much. It never really comes up, although I'd never deny it.

22 months and counting here! I've always just said that I would let him wean himself. He goes days without nursing and then asks for it out of the blue.

Most people assume I've weaned him. We don't nurse in public much anymore, so that's not a problem. If he asks for it, he's good about waiting, unless he's really tired and we're at home. DS's big thing is to "pet" my boobs.

Ds is 18 months here and still going strong. Don't plan on stopping anytime soon either.

I currently nurse my 2.5 year old son & 11month old daughter! Both love "Nanas" and definatly arent stopping anytime soon!! I love it because my son always tells me "Sissy needs to nurse, then me Kolin!" They will self-wean!
