Paypal- I need help!

I paid a mama for a diaper last night and she gave me an incorrect PP addy (I don't know how or why). So my money went to some unknown address- and has already been deducted from my account. What do I do to get my money back so I can actually pay her for the diaper? Any help would be so appreciated!

I would contact paypal immediately but not sure how that gets resolved but surely something could be done...

Okay. I freaked out. I was able to go into my account, and even though it was deducted, the payment was still unclaimed, so I was able to cancel it. Sorry to everyone for starting a thread so quickly in my panic!

You can cancel it. If it came out of your bank account (and not an existing pp balance) it will take a few days for it to be available to you again. If that's the case, it would be nice if that mama allowed you to pay when it becomes available since it was her mistake.

It came out of my existing pp balance. But it appears I got credited back the money. Does this sound right?

If it's existing balance then you do get the money back immediately. The situation I was speaking of was when you do an instant transfer from bank accounts.
