Arrow Anyone use White King Water Softener and Laundry Booster?

I can never find Calgon but I came across the White King at the grocery store today. Has anyone tried it? Is there any reason why it cannot be used for CD's? I would love to hear success stories with it as my whites get dingy so fast, even though we have a whole house water softener. I'm hoping this will do the trick. Thanks in advance mamas!

I actually found that with my supper hard water White King works best. I use it in my CD wash and rinses. The only negative I can see is that my CD are wearing out faster than before we lived here. But I think that has more to do with the hard water and multiple washes needed to get them clean. My wash routine has trippled in length to what it used to be.

I just started using it. I think it's helping with stinkies in my front loader. This morning's dipe seemed to weigh about as much as my baby but the stink didn't assault me through her jammies.

I use it too. I can never find Calgon, but White King is readily available so that's what I use. It seems to work pretty well! We even use it in our dishwasher to help with the hard water residue. I started using it when my microfiber inserts started having bad mineral deposit build up. I do think it has helped!
