Stupid. Freaking. Virus. **Attention Tech People* FIX IT! Please!

I keep getiting that AntiVirus 2009 garbage on here.

Over and over. I remove it, I refresh or go to a different page here. It will hang, and in the bottom status bar it says "Waiting for tag.contextweb.com"

And then bam. I am infected.

Re: Site painfully slow?

I can knit at least a row before the page loads.

It is worse than being on dial up.

it's awful for me too. Almost everytime I'm on here I get a virus attempt warning.

The site is loading super fast for me right now. I never see virus warnings either.

ETA: Are you using Firefox or IE? IE often gets bogged down on this site for me. Firefox works much better.

This is the first time I have had the virus thing.

And I have tried both Amanda.

I am currently scanning, and have 35 infected files.

Thumbs down Re: Site painfully slow? And multiple virus popups?

YES!!!! It is DRIVING me NUTS!!!!!!!! I came here to complain about this too . This is the only site that I have to refresh constantly...ads are always jumping out in my face. It is clogging up my PC with crap files... I have been a member a long time, and it didnt use to be this way. I am not going to pay $$ to make the ads go away, I am just not going to use the site as much .
