That is awesome!!! DH is intact and so is DS, the subject never even came up. I think i was like, 'i don't want DS to be circumcised.' and he was like, 'me neither'! He also doesn't care when i put pink CDs on DS. I love my DH

If specifically the adult male pictures don't convince any man, I don't know what would! In fact, I don't think it was until DH saw those pictures that he really began to feel depressed and mourned over the loss of his foreskin, and really jumped on board the intactivist wagon and started spreading the word. And after seeing that, whenever I hear that circ "looks better" I want to scream "You ARE CRAZZZY IF YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE THAT!" Seeing the comparison, it is clear that intact not only is better (duh, as nature intended!), but that it is more physically appealing.

I have been researching for future a DS. (We have only a DD at this point.) The more I read the more I agree with leaving a child whole. My husband does not agree but says "whatever". While that is not the reponse I'm looking for, I'll take it for now. I just hope he comes around if we ever have a boy. I don't want him to be ashamed of his son.

My oldest is almost 8. My husband grudgingly agreed to not do it to him. 8 years later, he is an intactivist and approaches people to talk about it. BUT, he just told me, it took YEARS for him to not think their penises looked weird. So, I would say, take it for now. He will likely change his mind in time.

mama, my husband also kinda said whatever, it's more of a big deal to you than me so do what you want when I broke down and told him I couldn't even sleep thinking about going through with that. Now he is all about leaving babies whole and is starting to restore!

Thanks Mamas... you have made me feel better about this and I think I will leave the dicussion at his whatever and face it when the time comes. The more I read the more I understand it is cosmetic and we had this same discussion about whether we should pierce DD's ears. He wanted to and I said no, its her decision if we do something unnecessary to her body. I think it should be the same if we were to have a boy, anything "cosmetic" should be his decision.
