Eww. I was under the impression that it was quite a rare thing...but apparently not. How could any parent agree to that on top of the cutting. Just sick.

That is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard in regards to circ! I'm pretty sure that Abraham didn't do anything like that; I wonder where the "ultra-orthodox" Jews get that from? Definitely not in the Bible, even in the Hebrew Scriptures. just ewwwwww

ok...question from a mama of 2 intact boys, i had posted early on this thread a few years back, and I am in need of help. My 6 yr old who is intact is having trouble retracting his foreskin. The doctor has prescribed a steroid cream to help it...then tells me if it doesn't work she recommends circ'ing him. Im desperate...he has had the cream for a cple days, haven't seen a ton of improvement,...suggestions? TIA.
