We found out we're having a boy, and my husband was totally okay with not circing He said that just because someone did it to him, it didn't mean that he wanted to do it to his son! Then he asked if there was a good reason that people did it. I said not, not really, and he just accepted that and said he's rather not

So that was easy! Now I don't know how my family will react. It's not something that ever came up before!

I agree. And I do not think there are any mistakes, just things we don't understand yet. People can survive without lots of parts, but that doesn't mean we should remove them when they are still healthy.
