Re: What are your 12-18m old's measurements?

Yep, she's a peanut. My 12 month old DD is a 15" waist, 17" rise, 7" inseam and 9" thigh. I struggle big time to find in stock longies for her because if the rise fits, the inseam is probably at least 3" too long. If the inseam fits, the rise is probably at least 3" too short. Some NB longies have her rise, which makes me

It's a good thing I can get customs! The funniest part of all is that this baby is a BOTTOMLESS PIT! She eats everything in sight and only stops eating if the food is gone.

Re: What are your 12-18m old's measurements?

My dd's a petite 19 month old, so I'll chime

Her measurements are 17" waist, 17" rise and 10 or 10.5" inseam. I think this age is harder because a lot of kids are either super heavy wetters and need a very large rise (to accommodate fluffier diapers) OR they're close to potty training and need a very short rise. I think the former is more common though... to see longies with a 10+" inseam with a rise of 18" or less (and in many cases 20" or less) is more uncommon.

That's why I knit my own though!

So it's seeming like the best option is to either:
a) stalk the PP's who have our same measurements , or
2) suck it up and order customs.

I refuse to learn how to knit. My sewing list is a MILE long, and I don't think my 'craft corner' could handle anything else.

Re: What are your 12-18m old's measurements?

Anna is just about 15 months and her measurements are rise: 18, inseam: 10, waist 16. I don't worry to much about the waist measurement b/c of the drawstring. But, rise and inseam are quite important.

that is what I am ordering for Eli (16 months) too. Though I can get away with a 9 or 9.5" inseam if I put his Roobeez fluffy boots on.

Re: What are your 12-18m old's measurements?

My enormous 14 month old has an 11 inch inseam. That's the measurement I go off, but I'd say about an 18 inch waist and similar rise.

My third is the same. She can out-eat me sometimes but she's not quite 20-lbs at 18-mos old so still itty bitty.
