Help me find the right pocket dipe!!

We having been using small FB & they are getting hard to put on b/c the rise is too short, DD wears them on the 3rd tightest thigh snap & only one open snap on tummy.
So I went & got out my new stash of medium FB & put them on as tight as possible but we had a major blowout in the leg
I purchased a SEZ size medium from a momma here & it seem to fit just like my small FB
I dont see the med. FB fitting for awhile & I have alot
I plan to get a used HH medium to try ...
What do you suggest?!

you might give celtic cloths a try. She has some great prices on seconds right now. Gad's are a good option.

I agree - we LOOOOOVE GADs - the fit is awesome & they are really dependable. I find side snap dipes in general fit my kids better than front snap. Oh, check out Swaddlebees also.

Re: Help me find the right pocket dipe!!

We're having serious fit issues with our FBs too, and our HH, bG and GADs are the only ones we have that fit him right now. I do have some Chubby Medium SEZ on their way to me which I have high hopes for. I'm also getting a Knickernappie Disposanot and a Cloth Thoughts, which I also have high hopes for.

I think side snapping will work better for us, because DS has huge thighs and a skinny little waist. At least I'm *hoping* they'll work better for us...

Re: Help me find the right pocket dipe!!

What worked best for us when we were in between small and medium FB's were GAD's and Snap-ez.

The Snap-ez are a very different fit than FB since they are a low rise diaper, but don't let that scare you As long as you have no crack showing in the back you are fine. It's kinda like comparing granny panties to bikini cut

I found the M HH's too big in that in between stage as well.

Oh yah, the pp mentioned Cloth Thoughts, these are great as well since they tend to fit a little smaller than most mediums!

GAD is green acre designs
I like BG's for the inbetweenies, you can adjust them better.
I had preoblems with FB's I couldn't get the waist tight enough but the legs were on the last snap.

I made some for my skinny lean boy that are in between a small and a medium with a little longer rise but more of a small leg and crotch area. You can probably get a WAHM to make some up for you how you want them.

Re: Help me find the right pocket dipe!!

I suggest a bg os pocket! DD's legs are small, and her med fb's are for sale bc of the exact problem you describe. I love bg's - I've not had any leaks. Yesterday, she feel asleep in the car on the way home from the gym and had one on for about 45 mins w/1 moe insert in it. Well, I didn't want to wake her and so I layed her down - and wahhlaaaaa no leaks when she woke almost 3 hrs later. So, she had that one dipe on for a long time...btw I wouldn't suggest leaving one on them that long - but I needed her to stay asleep
