storing cookies until Christmas?

I will be finishing up my Christmas baking tonight and tomorrow. We made different kinds of cookies and we will be giving them stacked in decorated pringles containers with parhmen paer rounds between each cookie. My quesion is how should I store hem until Christmas? Do i leave them at room temperature, or refigerated or frozen in the containes until I'm ready to give them out? I don't want them to be stale when I give them out..lol

They should be find in an air tight container at room temp unless there is something special in them that should be refrigerated. If you are really worried though you can freeze them with no problem too. I just finished some Christmas cookies I found in the back of the freezer a couple months ago....they were still good.

I make my Christmas cookies around the first of November and I always freeze them. Just take them out about 2 hours before serving and they are perfect. I think though the cookies would be fine for 4 days.

I can't take credit..someone suggested it in the thrifty forum..it turned out really cute. I put a pic of my kids inside the clear lid and wrapped the container w/ wrapping paper
