Changing title in a thread

I have tried multiple times to change the title of my WAHM thread. It shows up correct when I edit it, but when I go to search for my thread it's still wrong

I've been trying to for some time. I click on the little #1 in the corner of the original post and edit the title and save. It looks correct in the post, but under the forum thread up top it's still incorrect.

Try viewing all the threads you've started, then double click in the empty space right next to your thread title. It may open it up for editing that way. Sometimes the thread titles get stuck somehow.

It still won't let me change the title. I'm not sure what the white space is that I'm supposed to be clicking though

So in your title, do you want it to be talking about the new prints, and not the instock towels? I'll get a screen shot another time of the area you'd click, but in the meantime I can change it for you. Depending on how often you need it changed, you could either start a new thread or just ask a mod to change it for you.

Ok here's the screen shots of where to double-click. It's sort of "next to" the title instead of right on the title. Say I wanted to edit my Walmart thread... I'd double-click in the green area here....


and then the title would do this, allowing me to just type a new one:

I had this exact same problem and Andrea showed me how to fix it as above and it worked.

Thanks for the screen shots, but it still won't work

Do you know if it's a Mac thing? I've tried running it on safari and firefox and neither browser will let me click next to the title. It only stinks b/c my thread says I have stuff instock that I don't

I don't know if it makes a difference, but there are not little check mark next to the threads I started
