Thumbs down 18 Month LO Poops 3-6 times a day???

Anyone else have my luck? My first DS would poop once a day, sometimes once every other day.

I swear my younger DS poops 3-6 times a day, every day. I'm not concerned about him being abnormal, but boy this is not fun for me with the cloth diapers...

Oh honey I hear ya! The funny thing is I use to worry about her as a newborn/infant because she'd only go once a week-twice if I was lucky. Then right around her bday she started going 3-5 times a day

-after thought-if you dont have one I highly! recommend getting a diaper sprayer

My older boys are the same way. My 3 year old goes at least 3 times a day if not more and has pretty much forever. My 22 month old goes twice a day usually. Sometimes more depending on how much he's eaten that day and the day before.

I don't have one child that does that, but during the day I have 3 in cloth and one babe poops like 2-3 times a day, then the other once or twice and then my own DD twice a day. So I end up with 6-8 poopy diapers a day. NOT FUN!! lol

I didn't think I'd need a diaper sprayer, when I started I was only cding part time. After 1 week I changed my mind... I LOVE my diaper sprayer. I wouldn't have stuck to cding without it and since we've gone full time with the cd's

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one drowning in cloth poopy diapers...

My husband is like that. He goes after every meal. Thank goodness he's potty trained.

Yeah lately my son has dropped down to twice a day, but before that it was routinely 4 times every day, without fail. And he doesn't have those nice solid poops that just fall off of the diaper very often, usually it's more like peanut butter. Joy!

I HIGHLY recommend diaper liners--there are flushable and tossable versions of them (I am working through a box of tossables now, so I can get some flushables), and they make all poop, even the sticky, pancake batter, or peanut butter kinds, lift right out of the diaper. The makers all claim they help keep the baby drier, too, though I don't know if that's so much the case.

My whole family is like that! We were at my mom's house today all day for Christmas and ds2 pooped FOUR times! I almost ran out of diapers! He usually goes two-three times a day but I guess he ate extra today! My ds1 (potty trained) goes about three times a day and so do Dh and I. We do enjoy prunes in this house, those Sweet ones or whatever they're called are amazing! We go through two tubes of them a week! I don't have a diaper sprayer either (looking to get one for my birthday) but usually the poo just falls off. Oh you know you're a mom when you can have a full conversation about poo without blushing!
