Diaper Swappers

since it is now opt in noone but approved swap members can see what swaps are going on...is there any way to have a public viewable list of current swaps (maybe coops too) so that other members would know whats going on and they could choose to apply for swaps/coops...

I know I have had a couple people pm me and ask about the scrappy yarn swap (link is in my siggy) because they cant find it and when they click the link they get the cannot access page...more people might be interested in swaps if they KNEW they were happening...

just a list that says

"currently running are
diaper swap
everything swap
yarn swap
gift swap
etc
etc
etc"

kwim??

ETA- I would be happy to keep it updated if needed....I could keep a coop one updated as well...could be the same post..."current swaps/coops"

I think this is a good idea

It is hard to get new people in swaps if they don't realize the option is there.

I've applied several times to be in the swap forum but I've not been approved. I was really interested in the yarn swap, but I can only take so much rejection before I give up, ya know?

did you include all the information in the reason box? You dont have much feedback here did you include links to other feedback as well?

For swaps, you have have to have 500 posts, been a member for 3 months, and have f/b in at least 2 places (or post count of 1000 and good f/b here). When you apply, you have to put your name, address and phone number in the 'reason for request' box. If all of those conditions are not met, it will be denied. Due to the large number of requests, I just don't have time to PM each person missing information or not meeting requirements.
