NIP funny

DS and I flew to my parents' for the holidays. When we got on the plane, I had him in the Beco on my front. As the plane was getting ready to taxi, I took DS out of the carrier and he was nursing. The male flight attendant told me that DS had to "be detached from me for takeoff". So, I looked under the nursing cover and said "oh, well, he just detached himself so we're good". The flight attendant blushed and said "I meant from the CARRIER". The lady next to me thought he meant nursing too, so it wasn't just me. But, I got a laugh anyway!

Re: NIP funny

lol. Too funny!

But, why would it matter if the baby was in a carrier or not for take off?

I flew with my 18 month old in a sling with no one saying anything...

How cute!
I flew over Christmas, 4 flights total an 2 out of the 4 they told me the baby had to be out of the carrier. One flight attendent was very specific in saying the carrier had to be loosened and around my waist. The other 2 nothing was said to me.
