Do your parents agree with your child name choices?

I don't think parents ever like the name we pick out. We made it a point to not tell anyone what we were picking until the day DS 3 was born. Didn't want any issues after my first two.

With my next baby, I am keeping the name a secret until the birth and the only person I'll discuss names with is my husband. I think that's the safest way to go, really. I allowed my family to talk me out of certain names, and I won't be doing that again. I like old fashioned and very feminine names. My mother hated every single name I picked out. She even hated my DD's name, that we ultimately decided on, "Olivia". Now she claims she likes it.
