Virus!!

I just got done reformatting my harddrive AGAIN after recieving a virus from here. I was browsing here yesterday, had KILLER pop ups that broke through my Firefox with AdBlock, and crashed my whole comp NOT a fun New Years Eve PLEASE do something about this! I know I'm not the only one to catch the DS virus!

I read about these all the time.. yet have never had a problem... kind of odd... I run windows xp pro with norton 360... not sure if that helps or not??

i have never gotten a virus from here- but i IM'd my sis a link from here and she did get one. what can be done about it?

Several people have posted about this virus and there has been no update that I know of from the site administrators as to what they are going to do about it.

I have not gotten a virus but DS sometimes sets of a virus warning. I am running XP with Avast.

So, people need to have a screen shot in order to have Admin look into the virus all over this site?

I have a Mac, praise the Lord. But my computer is messed up and getting worse, so I probably wouldnt notice if I DID have something.

I get it all the freaking time.

I will do a screenshot. You won't be able to see much though, because the screen is covered with popups from "Antivirus 2009".

Just got a virus on my computer last night, made it through my AVG professional edition, and wrecked the whole computer. At the IT guy getting reformatted right now. I am two weeks new to DS, and can't deal with the headache of regular viruses - a WAHM on that computer. Is this really a regular thing on this site? I would be so bummed, I love DS! Does using Firefox instead of Explorer help?
