Omgosh my poor baby my ds was wearing a BSRB fitted with a snappi coverless and the bottom got caught on our couch and snapped off and the snappi got him right above his belly button. It's all bright red now and welted, he just cried and cried.

I like to go coverless at home sometimes and now that I think of it I have had snappis get caught on things with a prefold. I wish I could pin, but I am terrible at it. I just got these BSRB and I love the fit, but if they are going to do this I can't

. I am afraid to put another snappi on him.

Anyone had this happen or have any tips for me so it won't happen again.

I haven't had a snappi hurt my DD but I have cut myself more than once. Just the other day I dropped one on the floor and as I grabbed it, it caught on the carpet and cut a big slice into my thumb. They are sharp!!!

Sorry to hear about your little one. I've never used pins before but having owned BSRB fitteds they look very simple to pin unlike prefolds. I'd just pin it closed if you want to go coverless with them.

Snappi's are NEVER supposed to be used without a cover. Sorry your LO got hurt!

I'd put him in a cover, if you can't use pins.

The only time that I let DD go coverless with a snappi on is when it's snappied in the back.

BSRB don't snappi well for me, so I use pins with them.

Awww, poor baby!!

I only use pins, they are very easy (for me) to use and I'm scared of snappis! Maybe you can try putting it in the back like the PP said or there are some threads here that talk about pinning if you want to try that.

My snappi broke and snapped back at my finger. Sorry about your LOs tummy.

I switched to button OS fitteds from Tiny Tush because I hated dealing with the snappi. I am enjoying fitteds a lot

exactly - they have warnings about it on their packaging and their website. Those little claws can get caught on anything and they're only safe with a cover. We like going coverless too - but its not worth the risk unless I'm pinning. I guess thats one great thing about fitteds - you can go coverless with more ease
