Snack mix ideas please
I am nursing twins and am wanting to have around some yummy, but healthy type of snack mixes so that I have something to munch on and keep up my energy too. I have looked online for some recipes and found a few but thought maybe the mamas here would have some great recipes. I am trying to stay away from the Chex mix type with worchestershire sauce as I don't like it.
Any help would be welcomed! I am wanting make it from scratch as store bought is way too expensive. Here is what I have so far: Oyster crackers with dry ranch dressing and oil. Not very healthy, but yummy! Puppy chow, again not too healthy... Popcorn Caramel popcorn I have on hand pretzels, popcorn, dried fruit, choco chips, etc.

Re: Snack mix ideas please
I am not sure if this helps but I have read a bunch of thing on the thrifty side about pop corn with stuff added to it, like drizzeling it with stuff (I know what a help!) and afind cheese etc (powdered maybe) Post in thrifty see what they say! the dried fruit alone would be my go to!!
How is it working out nursing twins? I always wondered if i would have neough milk for 2 and how in t he world would you feed them, at the same time etc? 1 is time comsuming enough i couldn't imagine 2 soley BFing!! YOU GO MAMMA!!

Re: Snack mix ideas please
Bf twins is difficult at times. I have been fortunate at times that I only nurse one at a time. I have had to tandem nurse a few times out of desperation tho! I too have worried about having enough milk, but my body is able to keep up! I was engorged the other morning and get engorged easily if they don't nurse for close to 2 1/2 hours.
I will have to check out the thrifty thread and see what someone has posted there. Great idea!
