I just bought a book from Amazon (which I returned because it was not what I was looking for) called Rival Crock Pot 3 Books-in-1 Slow Cooker Recipes. So now that I have returned it, I am desperately wanting a new crock pot cook book. So here are the choices I've found/narrowed it down to (in order of my preference):
1-1,001 Best Slow Cooker Recipes (by Sue Spitler & Linda Yoakam) 2-Fix It and Forget It BIG Cookbook (by Phyllis Pellman Good) 3-Biggest Book of Slow Cooker Recipes (by Better Homes & Gardens) 4-Busy Woman's Slow Cooker Recipes (by Nancy Bohannon) Has anyone heard of these? Which is best? I like ground turkey/beef creamy soups, chicken stews, casseroles, potato dishes, etc...and the 3-in-1 book just had lots of roasts, pork loins or whatever, and chilis, none of which we like/buy/eat. So...before I get burned on another book, suggestions/opinions?? Thanks mamas!!

Re: Which Crock Pot Recipe Book??
I know the fix it and forget it is all about boxes and cans if you like that kind of cooking, if you don't skip that one!
I'll look and see what my favorites are and post back later!

Re: Which Crock Pot Recipe Book??
It must sound bad, but I kinda do like that style...just pour in some fresh veggies with some meat and then a can of cream-of soup and maybe some canned milk and voil-a! I wondered if anyone would've heard of these books or if my poll would even work....so thanks for posting!

Re: Which Crock Pot Recipe Book??
I picked "Other" because I don't use a book, I use allrecipes.com. It has some awesome slow cooker recipes - and it's free.

Re: Which Crock Pot Recipe Book??
I like Fix it and Forget it but truthfully I use the internet more than I use the book, its free and there are so many more recipes then you could ever fit in a book
