do you use longies as clothes or as pjs?

so far i am using longies as pjs. i can't use fitted diapers at daycare, so ds wears pockets or aios and "regular clothes" to daycare. but at home we put him down in a fitted and longies.

i'm just curious...to me they seem more like pjs!

We use them for both. It all depends on what DD is wearing during the day and what we are doing.

Both, I had a pair of footed longies that I knit for her that she slept in, and other longies that she wore as leggings.

We use them for both. Z only has a couple of pairs of "real" pants that actually fit, so he's in wool almost all the time But even his real pants are stretchy/comfy pants - he just doesn't seem comfortable in jeans and other stiff pants.

Either, just last night we went to Red Lobster and Itty Bits was wearing a Green Sprout fitted under the red longies with brown trucks on the leg and bum I made for him.
I also have a pair of longies that I made that never leave the house. I call them frankenlongies. For some reason after the first wash the one leg is stretched making them look a bit freakish. They still work, but I'm kinda embarassed to have him seen in public in them; make great PJs though.

We also use them for both. We use the flared ones as pants and the straight leg type ones for pjs. I have sent some to his homecare as well.

Both. Now that we've started potty-learning in earnest, I think I'll really appreciate their function as a cover over trainers/undies, and I'm sure daycare will too.
