Re: "She'll be a delayed crawler/walker because her diaper is so big"...
I was cloth diapered and walking @ 9mths! Yes 9mths old! (too early IMO)
I wouldn't wish that on anybody!

i know the feeling. my oldest wore sposies until 2 but she took her first steps at 8 months and was reliably strutting around the house at 9 months. WAAAAAAAAAAY to stinkin' early.

don't they look just ODD like that?? My son walked at 8 months and it was like watching a baby doll walk!!! I'm PRAYING that cloth or God will slow Shae down, she crawled right before 5 months but thank goodness she'd still MUCH rather be carried like the little princess she is

My baby was crawling at 6 1/2 months in her cloth diapers. That's hardly delayed!!!

BS! What you need to do is find a doctor from overseas. I work in a large hospital, and my kids and I go to the Family Medical Center, which is staffed by resident docs. The one from India was thrilled to see "a real diaper" so much so he went to get a Chinese co worker to show her! Then of course I had to give up info on where I got them.
Then they both told me that cloth diapered babies have better hip alignment than sposie babies. (its apparently true I've heard that quite a bit)

As all of the other posters have said, I wouldn't worry, when I was a baby I walked at nine months and I was double diapered in flats at all time b/c I reacted to all "rubber pants".

hmmmm. sounds like they all forgot that spossies are still a reletivly new concept and havent even been around 100 years. they werent thinking when they spoke..... that was a very much 'not thought through' comment. its supprising to me though that so many have forgotten that that is all our great great grandmothers used on all their children. no acceptions. and now your getting comments suggesting clothdiapering is taboo? what nonsense. like i said, not a well thought through comment at all. a fluffy little baby butt is a happy butt!

Trust me she will walk and crawl just fine with or without her bulky diapers. My dd walked at 9 mos and we used some pretty bulky cds.
