I think MEOS are an awesome system to go with. I actually just sold off all of my MEOS stash besides one diaper and a cover that has yet to sell though. I only sold them as my husband refused to use them, so they had little use. Otherwise, they would have been my #1 pick of diapering system to keep! They fit my newborn and toddler both perfectly!

The preemie prefolds are awesome as doublers. I keep a dozen on hand just for that use. I used them as a doubler with my toddler for naps and such, but found the MEOS with the ME snap in liner did just fine for my newborn and for my toddler during the day.

I noticed they show an alternative fold for the smaller setting:

I am trying to figure it out, but can't quite get it. Anyone else want to give it a shot?
Here is a picture FWIW..

Thanks! Hm... when I try it the wings are kind of twisted, how come yours aren't? Do you fasten it as if for the regular rise, and then just fold down the front? That's the only way I could figure it out, but then it twists the wings.. how did you attach the wings with no twisting??

Let me see.. okay easier to show pictures

start with MEOS turned "backwards" so the motherease tag is in front and the size and laudry tag is towards the back..

place on baby and bring bottom up through crotch area

now you can take the one over laping snap and attach it to the other side

here is it snapped

bring down top and snap that into place

done not sure if I like this any better than the normal way I'd have to see when baby is here...

Re: I absolutely LOVE Mother-ease!! ACTION SHOTS!

Thank you so much! I don't think I would have ever figured that out LOL! Can't wait to go and try it on my daughter's doll later!

I"m guessing that the only benefit of it would be that it might stop wing droop, for older active babies who still need fold down? Often the front folded part starts coming unfolded for those kiddos. But I don't know for sure. Nice to have it, though, in case that does help.

Re: I absolutely LOVE Mother-ease!! ACTION SHOTS!

Hey everyone, long time no see! Wow, over 1,000 posts of Mother-ease love! We are definitely still loving ours, they are the diaper we reach for first, and while they don't make up the bulk of our stash, because I have so many prefolds, they definitely make up the bulk of my fluff wash

Here are some recent pictures of Kate:

In a pink MEAF over a Sandys

Kate turns 1 in a month! She still fits her small Sandys and Medium Air Flows well at 22 lbs, not even on the last snaps!

Off to read all the posts I missed these few months and maybe update my siggy

Adorable! Love the fit. Congratulations!

6 bamboo doublers
4 ME AF covers
Nice! I'm envious!
Oh, how I would love to order a full stash of Mother-ease and open that box... and Kate is 22 lbs, I could almost justify a stash of MEOS... if I didn't have so many prefolds I do love my prefolds though... hmm, dilemma.

I thought that tip might help out some boys Mamas!
I don't have a boy in diapers - but smart tip!

Cotton Terry--stretchy and trim, not as soft as bamboo, but not super scratchy or anything like that.

Stay dry cotton--Not as stretchy because of the stay dry liner, great for nights. Some people have stink issues because the stay dry liner is a synthetic, I've not had any major issues.

Organic Cotton--A smidge softer than the regular cotton, much bulkier imo.

Bamboo--Very soft and stretchy, super duper trim because they could use so much less of it to achieve the 13 oz of absorbency. The bamboo snap in is really thin and really works well. I've heard they are less durable, I haven't had them long enough to be able to tell.

I love the Bamboo and regular cotton but am not a huge fan of the organic cotton because of the bulk. MEOS are my whole stash and I love them!
Do the bamboo take longer to dry?

Hello,

It sounds like Thirsties covers work well over MEOS. Do they work well over Sandy's also? Do Bummis super wrap/super brite work over MEOS and Sandy's? Thanks!
