I agree! I have yet to meet a RL person who CD's in my area. I always hope to maybe run into someone one day. I have tried to get some of my friends to try it. One tried G-diapers, but wouldn't even do that! Oh well...

Re: I absolutely LOVE Mother-ease!! ACTION SHOTS!

I have some questions for those that have tried the different types of materials for the diapers. I really like the Sandy's diapers. I have several bamboo MEOS, 4 Bamboo Sandys and the colored cotton terry MEOS. Are the organic or unbleached cotton any more absorbent than the regular terry? Also, I'm not finding too much difference as far as the cotton v. bamboo. Has anyone else found them to be a bit similar in absorbency?

Thanks.

I think they are all supposed to be the same absorbany but the bamboo is supposed to be a bit trimmer. I have the bamboo OS and I love them. They are my favourites.

Re: I absolutely LOVE Mother-ease!! ACTION SHOTS!

hi! i'm brand new to DS and have been playing around with different cloth diapers since i started CD'ing my 5 mo old girl a few weeks ago. i got a starter package of MEOS diapers and haven't used them much just because they seem so huge on her (even though she's chunky)... i tried watching their how-to video but it doesn't work for me. do you find clothes fit tighter with these on? (compared to other CD's) ... and mine just don't feel very soft, maybe i didnt prep them enough and should wash them more??

also this might sound dumb, but my package came with 3 snap-in liners. do i need to use those every time, or just for heavy wetting times?

i'm really encouraged by reading all the great comments on here about ME and i'm excited to try some sandys too! what would you suggest for a newbie? my little girl isnt' that bad of a wetter but she is an explosive pooper! :-D

THANKS in advance!!!!

Re: I absolutely LOVE Mother-ease!! ACTION SHOTS!

I am loving this thread because I have been using MEOS for over a year. I just love their simplicity!
Here are some pics of my sweet girl in her bamboo MEOS and small airflow cover. It is so amazing to me that the MEOS fit her so well and also fit my 3 year old on the last snaps (these are the dipes that she wore for bed before she didn't need a night diaper).

They fit nice and snug around her thighs!

I'm not a fan of how poofy these covers are, but they seem very comforatable and never leak!

Can anyone show pics of these with different covers, like Thirsties?

I used mostly Thirsties over them until we got an AirFlow. Thirsties are a great cover over Sandys, I just prefer snaps.

This is Kate, 11ish lbs in Small Sandies, and covered with Small Thirsties. Perfect coverage.

Small Orange Sandys covered with Small Bummis Super Whisper Wrap.
Just barely covers it, you can just see the diaper peeking out the top, but it works

Kate is about 13 lbs here, and below

Infant (10-22lb) Kushies wrap over a Small Sandys

I also have Medium Thirsties, Medium ABC, Medium BSWW and Medium Air Flow that all work with our MEOS and Small Sandys.
