Pork Chop Recipes and meal side ideas??

I got some Pork super cheap and we cut some up to pork chops and then I also have two good sized roasts. So any good recipes??

Also I am thinking of making BBQ Pork Chops tonight....am for some reason at a loss of what to cook with it besides a veggie??

How about homemade sweet potato fries in the oven?

We love Pork Chops made with Apples, butter, brown sugar & Pecans. It sounds odd, but is wonderful. I got the recipe from Emeril and even my picky 2yo DD eats it. Layer it pork chops, enough apples to cover completely, couple T butter 1/2c brown sugar and pecans/walnuts to taste. Bake like you would just the chops (this is also good with roast). You could add carrots too.

Ohh that recipe sounds good....infact I am going to make it tonight and scratch the BBQ .

I am going to make baked sweet potatoes too. Thanks for the ideas! Keep them coming.

One of our go-to pork chop meals is to put some chops in your crock pot with a can of golden mushroom soup and a can of mushrooms (I use stems and pieces) and cook on high about 4 hours. Yum! So tender! I usually serve broccoli and noodles/rice/mashed potatoes to spoon the "sauce" over.

I like to make these Brown Sugar Pork Chops. They are so easy and so good!!!

You need:
Pork Chops
Brown Sugar
Margarine
Soy Sauce


Preheat oven to 350°.

Place the chops in a 9x13 inch baking pan. Place 1 tablespoon of brown sugar on top of every chop. Place 1 tablespoon of margarine on top of the brown sugar. Sprinkle chops with soy sauce.

Cover pan with foil and bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until browned.


I usually serve these with rice (the "gravy" in the bottom of the pan when the pork chops are done is great on rice), sweet carrots, and rolls. My family loves these!
