I'm soon to have two in cloth in neighboring rooms, so I set up one changing area in the little foyer of the kids' rooms.
What a great idea!

Wow. This thread is incredible. Thank you all for sharing.

I noted some cloth wipes in a warmer. Does anyone know if this is okay with cleansing liquid? Or do you moisten the individual wipes? My baby girl doesn't like cold wipes and this would be a great solution if possible. Thanks!

Off to organize... something.

My diapers and wipes are in the closet in the hall... That's about it! I grab what I need and change him on the floor (or sometimes on my bed) - that's it!

What an AWESOME thread! I'm so jealous...I wish I had a bigger bathroom! This has definitely inspired me to get cracking on organizing what I have! Thanks

I will take some pics and post when my diaper stash is out of the dryer. It is pretty (almost pathetically) simple and basic

Re: How is your diaper station set up? Long post with lots of pictures

I have a weird setup, so i'll post

The boys have bunkbeds, but YDS is too young for his bed yet, so we took them down and use one as the changing station...we had an extra crib mattress from when we first took DS's bed rail down (we used it on the floor JIC he fell) so instead of storing it, we just put it on the bed....but it made for a nice little nook behind it to store all of our pockets and fitteds!):

here are all of our fitteds and the wool that goes with them (and also our babysitter dipes)

here are our PFs and flats and the wool that goes with them

here are the bins in their nightstand with PUL covers/wetbags, lotions, etc. and the bottom one is for their nighttime dipes and wool

nighttime dipes and wool

and a pic of the boys since ODS just HAD to get his picture taken

oh and here is pic of the dresser in our bedroom that was a changing table at one point, now it stays for changes during ODS naps, etc....i keep an emergency diaper there (babysitters sometimes use this station too).....when YDS moves to a big boy bed, we'll probably move the diapers into this setup

(this isn't full stash pics, there are a some dipes and wool missing, but it shows our setup )

Re: How is your diaper station set up? Long post with lots of pictures

I love seeing all these pics! my bathroom is way too small to have a station in, and the baby room is pretty small too. I liked the idea of the bassinet for a changing area, so clever! we use the top of a bureau to put the prefolds, covers end up being drapped over open drawers to dry in between use, and like others here, dirty clothes end up on the floor by the diaper pail until i put DS on the floor and have a chance to walk into my room where the hamper is....heheee

i'm just so impressed with these pics, some of you have SOOO many dipes!

Re: How is your diaper station set up? Long post with lots of pictures

Awesome thread! My DS is 18 months and we never bought a changing table but I realized the other day how much easier it would be if we had one. I have plenty of room in my bathroom for a changing table. As it stands all the diapers and diaper accessories are in a 6 drawer Sterlite cabinet in my room (DS's crib is in there also) and I have to grab a dipe and whatever else I need to change him then go to the bathroom. I always change him in the bathroom on the floor since my wipes are in there along with the commode for rinsing and the diaper pail. Having a table in there would just make it easier and I could store my dipes in there too! Since we are TTC #3 now any changing table we buy now would get used for years to come!

Thanks OP for starting this! I am inspired!
