I have a signature that is there when I post, but when I try to edit my signature to update it, it says I can't. I think it says because I don't have enough posts. But I was obviously allowed to make one at some point. I'm confused.

Well, when I preview the post it's there...but I think when I post it's not. Maybe. The box is checked to show my signature under options.

You need to have 51 posts before your signature will show up.

They changed the minimum post count for a signature up to 50 in September of last year, so in July and August you would have been able to have one, before they made the change. Here's that announcement.
