Re: Best cheap cover

To go over pfs, I would grab some Bummis Super Whisper Wraps or Bumkins covers, look for them in FSOT under covers. You won't need pins or snappis with those covers

Not even my dh gave her her heart medications LOL! Anyways it ended up being a blessing in disguise i think. Of course I'm not happy she has heart problems but she is doing great now and has no limitations of any kind now but has occasional checkups with her cardi still. I would have never had the guts to quit my job as i had been there for a long time and got paid fairly good for the little things i did But I had no choice basically and it has worked out great! I never got to be a sahm with my other 2 kids and i sooo regret it! We are pretty broke most the time and my diaper addiction doesn't help much but I LOVE being home with my kids now. Even though everything is super tight and theres not much $$ left over after the bills are paid i would still not change things. But big HUGS to you!!
Things always seem to have a way of working out. If you are looking for a new job Good Luck! I hope you find something you enjoy! But if you end up staying home i'm sure that will work out great too!
Thanks! I'm glad that your DD is doing great now. I take it that is her in your Avatar? She is a cutie!

Re: Best cheap cover

I would recommend just going to the FSOT boards...you can find awesome deals there. I get $4 and $5 covers there a lot. (including shipping)

on the FSOT boards, you will find good deals there!

BSWW and Proraps worked best for us, but I never tried Green Earth or Bumpy. I definately didn't like Litewraps for unpinned prefolds, they always sagged down and didn't stay in place, were too tight in the waist and too loose around the legs on my ds.

I have a green earth cover, and I like it. Very simple, you can kind of see through it, stretchy. I also have bumpy day which seems to do the job. Both of these are very trim, which is a big plus also.

What size do you need? Do you trifold or pin/Snappi? I'm sure between us we can find some cheap covers for you.

Sorry about your job, but try to look at it as a blessing.

I'm sorry about your job.

Bummis are very economical and have always worked well for my girls!

DD is around 23 lbs, so I need either mediums or larges. I guess it depends on the cover.

Thanks!
