Diaper Swappers

Hi girls,

My LO has been sick with a cold for about a week, though it's been off and on for a few weeks. We already did treatment for sinus infection which cleared it up quickly at one point.

He has a heavy cough, sporadic appetite, runny nose (yellow), sneezing, evening fevers. The fevers concern me the most. They are not high but gets him sweaty and warm.

Should I go to an urgent care today or just keep watching him? Or try to call his Dr via the answering service? I worry about ear and sinus infections with him as he has a facial deformity where one side of his face is underdeveloped and an ear is missing.

If it were me I would call the Doctors office first. They have his history and can decide what's best.

Poor babe, hope he feels better soon!

His rectal temp is 99.7 right now so pretty much normal... Will keep an eye on him today and see what happens. He is running around and playing at least... I hate winter!

Oh that's good.

I hate winter too..if I have to look at snow for much longer

Personally, I'd kill for some snow....it's nearly 80 here today. That gets kinda old believe it or not.

If things get worse, I would call your dr's office first. If they feel you should go to urgent care, then you can go that route. I'm glad he's doing a little better - hopefully that will just continue!
