That yarn is stunning, maddy!

We're going to the Chinese New Year parade today. We normally drive to downtown but today, we'll take Metro because Till loves riding the "tain! tain!". I will take my shrug to work on. I'm loving the yarn but this thing is going to be the death of me. It's taking for.ever.
Sounds like a fun day! Which shrug are you working on?

Dev - it's an EASY peasy shrug but it's like working on a scarf. Tedious, you know? http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...-sleeved-shrug

Here are some of the yarns I have been dyeing. This is my first time dyeing on Marr Haven, I didn't like it at first but it is starting to grow on me.

Wow, love the last 2! And I'm assuming Maddy is your first name? I bought a pair of pants you had made of fsot and they were the first wool that went on dd in the hospital they were our favs!

Ok so I think I need to make a cowl for both boys after playing in the snow yesterday. I figure a cowl will be easier than a scarf that will get drug all over it will be out of peace fleece. DH is in love w/ peace fleece. Yesterday he was showing off my mittens His cousin showed up and saw that Clay's mittens were covered in snow and she made a comment about him needing waterproof ones and DH told her not to worry his hands were warm and dry Well Clay looked at her and told her his hands were very warm. I looked over and her DS (2) had on cotton gloves from Walmart

Oh and DH has permitted me to buy lots of PF if I find another coop

Morning mommas! Thanks for all the kind words about Bear's scrappies...the fit is far too perfect to let them go. Now I just need to wash and lanolize them so he can *actually* wear them.

Lauren...lavendar and can't wait to see your yarn!
Maddy...nice yarns! Love rambo (though, I too disliked it at first ).
Dev...love your DH's hat! You go girl!
Molly....can't wait to see what you're up to with your monsters...you speed knitter, you!
Amy....I hear ya on the shrug boredom. Shrug=fancy scarf.

I worked on Bear's Tomten last night...I'm almost ready to graft the hood...then just the sleeves remain. I am going to cast on new SS today...oh, and I'd better go to random.org to choose my lotto winner...I almost forgot!

very nice yarns!!!! have you named them yet?

Ok, so last Sunday I put out a call for help and I don't think anyone saw it, so I'll repeat it this week.

I am west coast so I'll never be up early enough to start a thread. I have an idea for tomorrow's title and am looking for someone to call dibs on starting the thread and use my title. Anyone expect they'll be up in time to start the thread in the AM? Wanna shoot me a PM? Thanks.

Re: Sunday Wooly Sunday ...

I need to get to work.. I have to finish a pair of custom longies, the legs are all different colours and stitch patterns and it is taking me forever. I am going to try and dye a bit more today, I am really inspired and hope I have time.
Totally off topic, I found a storchenwiege wrap on kijiji this morning liek new for $60 - I emailed her and she said someone else had replied but she is waiting to see if they show and if not it's mine. I'm so excited I have wanted to try a woven wrap - back on topic I can wear Audrey in the wrap while I dye some woolie goodies .
