When you use Wiltons, how much dye do you put per amount of water? Or does it matter? Have you used black or brown?

Oh yeah, I also have to find time to take a shower today. Abby has a doctors appointment this afternoon. I'm excited to see how much she weighs and want to ask the doctor about a strawberry birthmark on her soft spot that looks darker every few days (all 3 of my kiddos were born with the strawberry stork bite between their eyes and several others on their head somewhere) But I'm really sad she is going to get shots. I hate seeing them scream in pain. DH is coming home to stay with the other kids, but I'd rather him go with us.

It's 70 for just the yarn. Hand dyed/Hand spun.

And I'm wondering why they photographed it with pink Rachel when it comes with blue trim?

I do about 1 cup of water with 1/2 tsp of dye. It's a little less than a cup because I put it in a squirt bottle and that doesn't hold quite a cup. When I did my paler colors I used about a cup of water with 1/2 of a 1/4 of a tsp and then ended up adding more water. I haven't used black, but I have used brown and it turned out more of a dark tan color.

Oh, and when I did the hot pour I just added some water to the bottom of the pots and added an overflowing 1/2 tsp, dissolved it and than filled the pot the rest of the way with water (leaving room of the yarn of course )

Well, I have to brag. I get to go to Cutie Tooties today, which is a diaper store here where i live!!!! And I actually have money to do a little shopping. I'm psyched! I'm just starting to cd, and I'm looking forward to buying something pretty!
