Okay, my goal for this morning is to clean up my harddrive so that my computer is faster so that I can be a better stalker so that I can get that bright sushi for Dev.

I have a knitting question that hopefully you more experienced knitting mamas can help me out with! I'm trying to design a skirtie version of my little treehuggers, and I want it to be a full skirt that comes all the way from the waistband. I need to knit the skirt part from the bottom up, and I thought I would knit the soaker as a separate piece. I'd rather not sew them together, so my thought was that I would cast on for the soaker with a provisional cast-on and then when I had the soaker and the skirt both finished, just pick up the live stitches from each and knit them together to knit the waistband. Does anyone know if that would work?
If it were me, I would just knit the skirt and then pick up purl stitches from behind where I wanted the soaker to start.

Re: Good Morning Wooly Mamas!!!!!!!!

Quick question ladies. I am wanting to purchase some targhee to dye up and stock. What is preferred 1ply,2ply,or3ply? I know nothing of this wool type except it being asked for more often and would love to even try some for myself. Any info on this yarn will help me out. Thanks.
