Re: Willamette Valley Mamas??

Hello!

Amy, I grew up in Dallas and my mom still lives there (near Lyle school). I am down there a lot more often now that my dad has passed away.

I am Amy, I have been CDing my dd for about 6 months. We live in Portland (west side) I mostly use Custom made Knickernappie pockets at this point. LOVE them!

I have a 15mo old dd and a 11yo ds. Can we say life in my house is insane??LOL

I have 3! My DD is 7yo, DS1 is 4 yo, and DS2 in 5 months old.

I have talked to my boss about the possibility of a play date. We are a non-profit so the nice thing is that it would be absolutely free. On the other hand, my boss is always worried about liability issues. I don't think it will be a problem but we may have to sign a small waiver saying that if someone slips and falls, they won't sue. Here is a pic.:

That place looks like it would be great for our babies to play at. I am willing to sign a waiver. Like I said, as long as its on a Thurs,Fri or on my weekend off. I am available.

I am totally interested! I SAH so my days are generally free, but DH and I only have one car, which he generally has.

Typically Ts/Ths are good for me (anytime), as well as weeknights and weekends. Really I can be flexible though, so whatever works for everyone else I can find a way to make it work for me

Super excited about having other cding mamas (really, any other mamas period!) to meet up with!

Hello Mamas!!!

Just wanted to say hello. I live over in Hillsboro so a little out of the way. I have friends in Aurora on Ehlen Rd. (by the truckstop). I love all that area down there. My Avi is from Oktoberfest in Mt. Angel.

Julie

BW- you need to come up to Hillsboro for the Pass it On Sale. It is an awesome kids consignment sale. They always have cloth there.

Re: Willamette Valley Mamas??

Well, my DH is saying no, no to the idea of meeting at my work. He thinks I would be taking advantage because other employees don't meet there on the weekends. I see what he is saying, but I work on the weekends when other employees don't and my work built that gym, so I should get some use out of it! Regardless, we had better meet somewhere else first so I can pretend I listen to him from time to time. Any ideas?

I'm wondering if we should start a new "Willamette Valley Play Date" thread, since I think I may have hijacked this thread
