**hugs** to all the mamas with sick babies and sleep deprivation... i'd be freaking out so bad if D got a 103+ fever!

Last night was another struggle... i'm at my wit's end with getting D to sleep... he sleeps for the most part, he's just up constantly to nurse, which means i don't get any time to myself. He was also latching funny in bed and that doesn't feel the greatest when he decides he wants to nurse for 30 minutes. Even better, this morning he got as much nipple in his mouth as he could, chomped down, and then yanked his head back... i have a seriously unhappy nipple now... he didn't break the skin but it's very bruised and swollen. And icing your nipples isn't really acceptable at work, so i'm taking tylenol and hoping it stops hurting eventually.

oh megan sorry D did that to your poor nipple. Ryder did that once and i immediately stopped nursing him. after the second time he got it and never chomped down on them again.

The photo contest is this week. Get your photos in now. She announces the winner right before stocking time. She put up the info on hc. The photo contest is the first week of every month.

Doesn't work. He usually bites at the end of a nursing session, and it's hard to tell when he wants to eat more, or when he wants to bite me... most of the time during the day he pushes away from me and i can tell he's done, but at night he starts rooting around and whining so i think he's still hungry, and then CHOMP. Stopping hasn't made any sort of impression on him since he's not hungry anyway.
