Re: Good BSRB Fluffy Friday Morning!

Allison, I'm a firm believer in doing what works best for you. You seem to have a great rhythm and nice balance - and how fortunate you are that you can leave the twins with their grandparents! When I worked out of the home, DD1 went through 2 nannies and 2 daycares in 18 months! It was total, pure, madness! That's why I am now at home. If me working outside of the home had worked better for us, I'd still be there! I miss it!

The sad thing is, we don't have a lot of debt (mortgage and one car loan), but we have a $400/month payment for his student loans.

Ok, enough of a pity party for myself, lol...

Really like this idea! Can you tell us what kinds of snacks you guys eat?

Totally get that! DS has really been good for me, though. It's nice to have grown-up chat during the day, especially if it's a rough one.

Re: Good BSRB Fluffy Friday Morning!

right now we have no sort of schedule really because I normally work full time, but right now i'm on my maternity leave. The only thing I still do is that DS1 still gets his bath every night around 7.30-8pm and then we read some books together and he's usually down for the night around 9pm. I know that is late but I can't get him to sleep any earlier..especially since when I am working I dont usually get home until 6.30pm-7 so by the time dinner is cooked and eatten it usually isn't until 8 ;X DS2 just does his own thing. He nurses every 2-3 hrs and sleeps on and off all day and night. lol.

When i'm working my schedule looks like this...
6.30am - i wake up, shower, and dress.
7.30am - wake DS1 up if he didn't get up on his own already and get him dressed and ready for the day.
8am - out the door to drop DS1 and mom off at brothers house (where she watches DS and my neice)
9am - work
6pm - leave work
6.30-7 - get home and start dinner
8pm - bath time and bedtime routine
9pm - DS down for the night
and I go to sleep whenever I go to sleep. haha. It's going to change a little bit now that DS2 is in the picture and it'll take some adjusting but we'll get through that hurdle when I return to work. which is in about 5wks.

Re: Good BSRB Fluffy Friday Morning!

Okay, Im back...good grief.

DS is not a happy child today and DD didn't want to go for her nap...then I had to shower.

Now I am making a list of all the crap we have to do if we want to sell this condo to buy a house...we are going to look at a place tonight. It is amazing the state of disrepair a house can get to when you have kids

Of course it doesnt help that the previous owners were not-so-bright and *super* cheap so now we have two bathrooms with serious plumbing crap to take care of because he did it all himself and didn't have a clue what he was doing...

Jodan...where are you?
I hope you're feeling a little better...sorry to hear that you're feeling weak.
I need you for stalking today. I know you're helping another mama on EF, but I'm going after something else 2 minutes before hers.

Anyone else available?

I am desperate.
I'll stalk my heart out in the future for anyone who is available today to help.
