I keep showing him pictures of the gates for large openings you can buy and they don't have columns but he insists that is the "right" way to do it -- I suspect he just doesn't want to build it so he is trying to scare me with how it will look. He is 6'4" (and not pregnant ) so stepping over a 3' tall gate isn't a huge deal, I am still tall at 5'9" but it is getting harder with the belly to clear the gate comfortably, plus my balance is starting to be set off.
Dh is an airline mechanic and he just put bigger screws into the wall so Aidan would not pull on it. So far it has been up for 3 years and still going strong! Dh is 5'8 and it's like a hurdle for him to go over..

AmyRuth- please keep us updated on your hubby! He's in my thoughts today!

Quick questions: What's the difference between Lindon and Peregrine merino (is it Cestari fine & superfine) of TIG?

My goals this weekend: finish Pkat longies, finish custom scrappies, cast on Foxygoober shorties....

A little banana, or some toast? Or perhaps some popcorn (the kind you pop in a pan, with olive oil and just a little salt)? those things would be gentle on the tummy. I too had a stomach bug at 30 weeks! Ack! It was horrible. and I'm very sorry to hear about what is going on with your husband.

Oh yes, one more question...

Calorimetry makers-- I got about half way thru mine last night & frogged it- way too big for my head.... If I cast on 100 stitches, at what number btween the stitch markers would I start to increase my short rows??? Do I make sense?
