Re: a basic weekend... chat and share a recipe????

I am getting hungry thinking about recipes and food... I am still eating milk and soy free, so it is hard sometimes. It's when you know you can't have something, that you really want it!!
I'm going to get a bowl of cheerios with rice milk, brb!

WOTB: disposable ( anitbiotic side effects!)

Steph - cute pics!

Recipes: will dig one out. Hmmmm.....

My QOTD: would you sell to a mama with less than 100% feedback? Have an offer from someone who only has 4 feedback ratings and 1 of them is negative. But the other ones rave about her.

Off to get a much needed haircut and run some errands. Am so glad my DH is home today.

OK, here is my recipe - I love this one. I omit the cream and added another 1/4 cup of broth for a vegan version. Its sooooo yummy! And soooo easy

Re: a basic weekend... chat and share a recipe????

Here's my pumpkin bread recipe:

Cheryl's Pumpkin Bread (makes two big loaves or about 16 mini loaves)(source unknown)

3 1/2 c flour
3 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp backing soda
1 tsp each ginger, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg (or substitute 4 scoops of Homemade Gourmet Spice Mix)
2 c cooked pumpkin
5/8 c water
1 c oil
4 eggs
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Make a well, add remaining wet ingredients. Mix well by hand. Pour in two greased loaf pans. Bake about 60 minutes at 350F. Can also be made in smaller pans, but usually requires less cooking time. It is done when the top of the bread springs back at the touch.

I have recently made these in cake pans, and it works fine, so you can do a heart shaped pan for Vday if you want!

as a seller i would. but get DC. or if the value is quite a bit, get siggy confirmation. some ppl are just b*tchy and give neg/neutral fb too easily... but better safe than sorry. i had a pricy order w someone who had 100% feedback, but got the $2 siggy confirmation just bc i didnt want someone to say they didnt get it. just cautious. for dipes in priority, i generally trust priority mail, but didnt want to risk the buyer saying i didnt get it and having pp refunding the $$. so it was a CYA. i didnt want to be out the dipes and $. i think that is your only real risk... so if you cover that....
