Evening I didnt get the kid apron done yet havent even started! Yikes! usually i am on it .. not this weekend.

I think I know what thread you are looking at I have tried to stay away from the FSOT woolies I bought a soaker and a pair of longies last week (The longies were $9 PPD and the soaker was beautiful and I think was $18 PPD)

Happy weekend. Well now it is the end of the weekend. I had a big long reply done and Mary Helen came by and swiped some keys and killed it soooo.....

What do I remember after 20 pages???

I am the oldest so far...will be 40 this month on the 23rd.

MH was born with a midwife at the hospital, would have loved a home birth was but we had to rule it since out we are 60 miles from the hospital...too far and no birth centers out here. Also she is an only and will stay as such. We really are happy with just one.

Recipes looked great. I do lots of cooking in the crockpot and soups all which have no recipes, just open and dump what we have.

Valentines day....hmmm....we will probably go out to lunch at our favorite place in Gallup and then go to a movie. We just don't do much for holidays. I did ask DH to work with MH on creating something for me for VD or my BD.

on all the pretty woolie pics. We found 2 shorts to order on Friday...still on the hunt for more.

It is snowing here....too bad not enough for a school day.

We had a busy weekend of de-cluttering and organizing. DH is working on his studio still. We have been building shelves to re-organize all his storage. I did the office/guest room/now the workout room too. I was able to get it arranged to make room for the treadmill being open all the time...one more reason to stop avoiding it
Also found what we need to get MH's toys organized and looking OK while still being in the living room. We now need to wait until we get to LA at the end of the month to get to an IKEA and buy it and haul it home.

Ok MH is asking for a nurse and bed. Look forward to chatting more tomorrow.

Can I ask a dumb question? what materials are 100% cotton and how do you know...I'm selling some diapers and someone wants to know if the inside of any of them are organic I didn't make them and some are a few months old...they are flannel, minky, and fleece on the inside...I know the fleece isn't because fleece is made out of polyester but the others I have no idea....

usually organic is from non chemical processed materials.... like no pesticides and stuff like that. if you bought used it would be hard to know.

mainly just not processed much.

swaddling... none of mine would have their arms tucked... but we swaddled the body until they outgrew the length of the regular recieving blankets...

dd has started to self soothe in her bed... she now can be laid in it to go to sleep all by herself... and she still wakes like she used to, but she just crabs and goes back to sleep.... now we need to work on the binky....

i was thinking that we could do a whole recipe thread in the kitchen section... like copy and paste or something..... and keep it going and subscribe the thread for future reference..... and we can add as we go... what do you all think?
