I like a girl name DH says....

He likes it too but he is worried that it is too "ethnic". The name is Kaleah, it's based off a Hawaiian name. We are not Hawaiian. What do you ladies think? I think it's really pretty and personally like a lot of Hawaiian names anyways. We would prob call her Leah which is what we had originally thought of naming her but it was too close to DD1's name.

I like it! Most names have a basis in other cultures and countries. You'd be hard pressed to find a name that's not! I say go for it. It's very pretty.

No way! I love it and I don't think it's really all that ethnic. Either way, it's beautiful! Definitely use it!

I don't think it's 'ethnic' at all. Sounds pretty American to me. However, I think many ppl would pronounce it Kay-Lee. That was my first thought...although it's pretty spelled that way. Kayleah would be Kay Lee Ah to me. Just my .02 though.

Oooh! I love it! I'm a sucker for a unique name. My first dd has a Hebrew name but we're not Hebrew, and my 3rd dd's name is mostly unheard of I think... (Cyrinda)... go for the unique name!

Well we actually pronounce it Ka Lee Ah. That's DH other concern that no one will say it right but that is when it was spelled Calliah.
