I'm going back to my LYS at lunch time to get size 5's for the waistband. Do you all knit on 16" circulars or 24"s? I might as well get a few pairs while I'm there. It's so disappointing to be ready to knit and not have the needles.
Dev I got 16's based on recommendations...but I think I am gonna get 24's today at my LYS. My work was son scrunched up on the 16's .

DH is still home w/ us today--working from home to help a little--I'm still feeling pretty bad but I think mostly it's just getting my strength back and getting ride of my headache at this point.
Oh yuck. I'm so sorry!

This is getting funny already -- I just found another specialty LYS in town! I googled o wool from last night's thread and found this shop w/ fabric and fiber: http://www.clothfiberworkshop.com/shop/index.html

So that's 5 specialty LYS in Asheville itself, plus there's 4 or 5 w/in a 20 mile radius. We're a small town of 70,000 y'all. We have a lot of knitters and knitting visitors around here!

morning ladies! all the WIPs look great! plath, i LOVE the colors in your skirty!!

here's what i'm working on. it's the first time i've carried yarn down to alternate rows. if i didn't do that with this particular project, the colors were matching up PERFECTLY. talk about serious pooling!!!

i've got an OT question for you guys:

my DD is 15 months old. if we put her down to bed at 7/7:30 she sleeps until about 8. but if we put her down about 8/8:30 she sleeps until 10! is that okaY!? i mean, on the one hand, never wake a sleeping baby! but on the other, it's a little disconcerting!

That is turning out beautiful!

No advice on the sleeping, although I'll just say I'm jealous. Dd still wakes up 2-3x a night and sleeps from 9ish until 8ish. Plus barely naps!
Has she always been a sleeper? If so, I'd tend not to worry too much.
