Re: Was your 2nd pregnancy different from your 1st?

With DS, I didn't know I was pregnant right away(blamed missed period on stress), wasn't sick at all, continued to work 12 hour days, ate slightly more than normal.

With this pregnancy, I was feeling sick from 10 post ovulation until 15 weeks. I eat like a pig, tired all the time, back aches, and mood swings.

Re: Was your 2nd pregnancy different from your 1st?

I was definitely sicker with #2. Also, my BH contractions started up at 23 weeks with #2, while I didn't start getting them until about 33 weeks with #1. I thought I was going to go really early, it was kinda freaky.

I'm also not losing the weight as fast this time. It fell off after having #1... not so much this time

Things have been VERY different for me this time, and I was so convinced I was having another boy...but found out today that it's a girl! So I'd chalk it up to all pregnancies being different.

Re: Was your 2nd pregnancy different from your 1st?

I had very similar pregnancies, both with girls. Even my m/c at about 11 weeks was progressing the exact same way (exhausted at 4 weeks, nauseous at 5...) and with all three I just "knew" they were girls. This time so far I've only had a few incidents of minor morning sickness, and for some reason I really feel like it's a boy. I'm sure I'll carry them all the same though-- my girls were classic "boy" bellies-- all tummy, straight out, and SO low. From 6 months on I would get, "Any day now, you've already dropped!" from strangers.

Re: Was your 2nd pregnancy different from your 1st?

I was sick with dd until 14 weeks, more like 21 weeks with this ds. I think have been more tired this time, but I also have dd to chase around! I can definitely tell that this baby is carrying lower than dd too. And it seems that ds is bigger, I never felt dd this high in my ribcage, and when he moves, he takes up my whole abdomen it seems. It wasn't like that with dd.
