I love the name Rowan, and I think it can be used for a boy or a girl. I think it means something like "little seal". It is always on my list buy my DH always nixes it, maybe next time. Nice choice.

With that spelling, I'd think boy but I know it can be for either. It's my nephew's name

Rowan is another Irish boy named turned unisex. As a mother of two Irish boy named boys it makes me sad.

Ronan is little seal, if we ever had another boy he would be Ronan. I love it.
