Re: B2B weekend of Love Chatter

I decided to jump in early today. I always wait around to get on this thread until there are tons of pages. Then I am just too lazy to get caught up!!

I just realized that I am about to have way too many flats!! I have 6 LL and I have 51 more flats on the way (some LL, BG, and ATD)!! What was I thinking?!?!?! I just got the flat bug and couldn't resist.

WOTB: OS side-snapping front pocket that I made

WOTA: Cleaning house before we leave for the weekend.

I would just tell her that you didn't realize how attached the girls were to the little dog. I am sure she would understand.

Re: B2B weekend of Love Chatter

morning! the baby got up early this morning, nursed, got changed and went back to bed! I got a chance to chat with an old friend from HS this morning on facebook...Her family lives not too far from me and my mom's b-day was this past Thurs......so I set it up to where when she comes to visit her family she will get to visit my mom as a belated b-day gift! My mom was supposed to be out of town this weekend for her b-day and V-day but changed her plans so everything is set up for next weekend at her request...Our families were really close when we were kids...we went from 2nd grade to senior yr together....

WOTA:
oil change
go to AC Moore for yarn
make my mom's b-day gift (we are celebrating next weekend at her request)
TRU for sippy cup sale!
wrap my niece's present(s)
take kids to niece's 3rd b-day party
laundry
post pics of the girls blankets
research for project

Some of the stuff on the list obviously wouldn't get done today so some will be for tomorrow as well....

gave the kids their Valentine's this morning, just bought each 1 a small box of chocolate and a new toothbrush ...we don't really eat candy/junk food so it is always a special treat! The kids are working on part of niece's b-day present as I type....I think we are getting her a Disney Princess Barbie, we got her sidewalk chalk, bubbles and crayons and coloring book...It is/was really hard to decide since she has everything! I might skip the doll and pick up a Dr. kit instead...my sister is an x-ray tech so that might be cute! I have to go back to TRU to get sippy cups and can grab it there....

not sure what we are doing for V-day...maybe Chinese take out!

WOTB: LWI dyed clover, wool soaker, flannel pj pants, napping!

Re: B2B weekend of Love Chatter

How big are the toddler small prefolds? Maya is so far a super chunky baby and i can see her outgrowing the capris in the not so distant future. Would that be my best bet? I would rather get from LL if I can because they are much cheaper then the GMD.... I think premiums will not fit right. to long but not wide enough. Thoughts?? She is about 14-15 lbs and 2 mths old. My son who grew similarly to how she is growing was like 26 lbs by 6 mths........

Yeah, that. That way they can decide if a dog is too much work, and their is no obligation. I think they'd understand about the kids.

Re: B2B weekend of Love Chatter

Ok, we may be crazy. DH is going out to buy a push mower (I mean manually push, no gas or electric power). We have always outsourced the mowing because DH has a grass and ant allergy, and it gets 100+ here in the summer. But it's draining us financially, and we don't have room to buy a big mower. Plus, we have a smaller yard with thin-bladed seed grass, instead of the normal thick st. augustine grass that is popular in Texas. So in theory this is a good idea.

We will see. I'm not holding my breath...

Sounds like fun! Our yard is too big for something like that. We have a lemon of a riding mower that cost us $500 So I can't figure out what DFW area means? Are you in the states?

Spring won't come here until April sometime but we still occasionally see the 30's & 40's in May here. I remember 7 years ago here on Memorial Day it was sleeting. Then again, 9 years ago (I remember because it was the first time dh (boyfriend at the time) brought me here to visit his family), it was in the 80's and we were at Lake Michigan beach. Never know what you're gonna get here.
