Woolie Mamas, I thought you could help.
I bought this scrappy custom and we are going to do scrappy girly shorties with a ruffle hem. (I am omiting the colourway on the furthest to the right) What trim should I do? I am leaning towards pink or white.

Anyone ever knit shorties with a white trim? Is it too bold? Or does it make the colours pop?

Okay, tell me if I'm crazy--I'm thinking I'm going to need to work the short rows into the leaf pattern. I have a plan for this, but would it be better to just knit on really tiny needles so I can still get enough stitches between the pattern repeats that I can work the short rows between them?

(oh, and if the mama who ordered the custom happens to be reading this thread, I swear they will look nice when I am done--don't lose faith!!!)

OK ladies, so I havea question for ya all. My daughter and her fam (including my sweet CD'd lo) will be visiting from Israel for 3-4 weeks in late March. With luggage restrictions, she (kukoo here on DS) is thinking of not bringing her dipes and using an eco friendly diaper service while here (if that is even possible for short term). WHat are your thoughts? Or should she just bring 2 doz prefolds and flats and use them? Pls LMK!
