What is a "diaper cut" of fabric?

What size? What does it look like? Inch X inch? Thanks!

Re: What is a "diaper cut" of fabric?

They can be different sizes. A common size is about 20X20, but I'd certainly make sure of measurements, if they weren't listed, before I bought.

I've also seen some people listing "diaper cuts" that are ACTUALLY cut out patterns that they aren't using anymore....and they're just calling them diaper cuts. IMO, that's not a true diaper cut---that's a pre-cut diaper pattern. So, especially in the FSOT listings, I'd double check and clarify exactly WHAT that person is calling a diaper cut.

Usually, diaper cuts are far more costly, per cut/diaper, than buying a yard of fabric. But, it can be an OK way to buy a piece if you just need one and don't want a full yard in a color/print.
