Re: Help me test my cookie recipe!

OOPS! Yeah, it was one cup of sugar, I can't believe I left that out!!! I will go fix it now in the first post. You can add as much chocolate chips as you want, I think... I would guess about a cup, even when I'm using a cookbook recipe I usually just dump some in until it looks about right.

I'm glad you liked them jmgrimm! My family seems to like them, and I definitely like them, but it has been so long since we had a "real" cookie, that I seriously wonder if they are actually good or if they are only good if you are cookie starved. Did they have good cookie texture?

yeah. They look like regular cookies. Even my DH and Best friend couldn't tell the difference. They taste like cookies to us. I wonder if anyone else has tried them too.

I was going to make this today but can't find any chocolate chips. I think the kids snuck them...I added them to the grocery list now. HA

WOOT! That's exactly what I was hoping to hear! I love cookies, but am not much of a baker, so it's been a looong time since we've had a real cookie, lol. Did anybody else try them?

Re: Help me test my cookie recipe!

These came out very good! My dh and ds love them too. I really like the cinnamon in them. Thanks for the yummy recipe mama!

My disclaimer: I can't make any recipe the exact way it's written
-Instead of using all white flour, I used 1/2 cup wheat, 1/2 cup wheat germ, and 1 cup of white flour.
-Instead of using baking choc, I used about 1/3 cup powdered baking coca and 1/2 cup drk choc chips
- Instead of using 1 cup sug, I used a little over 1/2 cup of raw sug.
-I added a little bit of cayenne pepper to my second batch of cookies because I thought it would be good with the cinnamon, I liked them both with and without cayenne.
